Vincent van Gogh was a man who is somewhat famous for his mental instability. He later ended his own life. For the Doctor to go and show him that his art mattered, and that his existence mattered…is amazing. And I wish someone could have shown this amazing artist how much he contributed to the world.
I wish the Doctor could show everyone how they mattered, because everybody does matter. In our own small way, we change the world simply by existing.

Ok so Im relatively new to the fandom and Im in the middle of season 7 and i think i missed something. The doctor is obviously confused about Clara because of the dalek ayslum but in the series there's also references to a victorian london Clara. Was there an episode about that reference. And what about the lizard women and girl with her? They just suddenly came into the story line. Idk man I just need some clarity.

okay so the victorian london clara is also clara. the same clara. and yeah theres and episode of that, its called “the snowmen” and its season 7 episode 6.
okay and the lizard women is vastra is a silurian (an alien species), which also had an earlier episode. and the women is jenny who was her maid and now her wife.
